This is a signed original oil painting depicting a beautiful autumn
landscape and river scene within a white/gold frame. Painted by the
late Erkki Jalava. Colorful and lots of detail.

Erkki Jalava, a listed artist born in Helsinki, Finland, immigrated to
Canada in 1954 (listed in the National Gallery of Canada archives)
Framed: 48" x 28"
Unframed: 40" x 20" (oil on board only)
Signature: Signed E. Jalava on the right-hand side of the painting
Condition: Painting is in excellent condition - no damage. The
plaster frame has slight plaster gilding broken from frame
Erkki Jalava was a very talented artist who teamed with his wife, Anna
Jalava, also a talented and listed artist. They both resided in
Toronto and later in Peterborough, Ontario.
