Greetings folks.

Summer approaches and now's the time to think about enjoying the
outdoors again (weather permitting of course...). Now, would you like
to put flower beds in your yard but you're not sure of what kind?
Perhaps your hedge or that pesky low-hanging tree is giving you
headaches and blocking the sun? Or maybe you've had an injury or are a
senior and things aren't as easy as they used to be? Most importantly,
do you not want to pay professional prices?

Sorry for the corny sales pitch, but I may be able to help you. I'm a
hobbyist landscape designer and builder offering labour-only or general
consulting services. I specialise in the design and construction of
flower beds, though I can and have done other kinds of work. Take
advantage of my amateur status!

I'm only one person so no job is too small, even if only to straighten a
crooked edge somewhere. This is not a commercial post: I'm simply a guy
who's trying to make and save some some extra cash in order to buy a
house and car. If anyone reading this has bought either of those things
recently, I'm sure you know the extra costs are outrageous! I mean come
on: expect to pay up to another 5% for mortgage closing costs?

Anyway, ranting aside -- would you like a hexagonal bed around a tree?
Perhaps a sine curve along your curb line? A nice multi-level flower
bed near your patio? How about a pair of dodecagons inscribed in an
ellipse? Let my geometry work for you! Of course, I also do regular
lawn maintenance (working with that green stuff where there are no flowers).

Some of the work I offer includes:

a) routine lawn maintenance (aerating, dethatching, mowing, raking),
b) hedge trimming or brush/branch/tree cutting,
c) flower bed designs and construction (out of stone, wood, etc.),
d) retaining wall and pathway building (flagstone, etc.),
e) (non-legal) land surveys and scale diagrammes for planning and so on.

Flexible hours depending on location (I am in Westboro), reasonable
rates (who doesn't advertise that), FREE on-site consultations. I have
all my own tools, but you buy all the materials. I've been a hobbyist
for almost ten years, puttering on my parents' 11 acres back in
Manitoba. Believe it or not I work at Statistics Canada, so I think I
know my math.

Here's something few advertise: satisfaction guaranteed. If not, I fix
it free at my cost until you're happy, or refund your money. NO
kidding. Cash preferred, but receipts ok.

Please contact me at the posting address, ensuring that NO and SPAM are
removed. Thank you.
