I bought a Hamilton-Beech Slow Cooker (Crockpot), but discovered when
I made my first 'pot roast' that it is way too large for one person, I
should have bought a 3 to 4 quart slow cooker. I've only used it the
one time, it has the lid, etc plus a travel case so if you are going
to someone else's place you place the cooker in the travel case to
keep things warm. The lid has a rest, so you can open it and rest the
lid on the stand without taking the lid off completely. There is also
a rubber band you can anchor the lid down (I guess for when you are
taking it somewhere else). Hamilton Beech is a good brand and I was
impressed with the one time I used it (but not after eating pot roast
for 5 consecutive days!) I paid $60, any offers? I live near the
Vanier Parkway. Thank you.
