many many years of drawing experiences. Some details
are as following:
Objectives: To make the classroom an enjoyable and
exciting setting for learning. To teach the basic
rules and techniques of drawing. To initiate
observational ability & creativity.
Age: 7 years old to adult.
Level: entry, intermediate and advanced.
About the class:
1)Form: Geometry, still-life, portrait, and scenery
etc.
2)Method: Sketches and color drawing.
3)Media: pencil, pen, charcoals sketch, watercolor,
acrylic, gouache,
oil,
and Chinese painting etc.
The studio programs take a hands-on approach and
enable students to
receive
plenty of one-on-one instruction. At the same time
the students are encouraged to develop their own
style. There are three levels of lessons
(beginning, intermediate and advanced), and 4 lessons
per month.
Tuition:
$10/60 min for beginners(2-4 students per class),
$13/60 min for beginners(one by one), 75 min for
intermediate level and 90 min for advanced level.
About the teacher: He is currently teaching drawings
in Upper Arlington High School (lifelong learning
program). He is a member of NAEA(National Art
Education Association) & a Member of OAEA(Ohio Art
Education Association)
He graduated from the Central Academy of Art & Design,
Beijing, China.
He was an art instructor, while an architect at
Beijing Institute of Architecture, Beijing, China. He
has won several awards on
1) Excellence award of ?eijing Youth Art
Exhibition〃, 1976.
2) Architectural design honorable award for Building
of Ministry of
Foreign
Trade & Economic Relation, 1990.
3) Interior design honorable award for Building of
Ministry of Foreign
Trade
& Economic Relation, 1991.
