What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. load way:30998404 http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/30998404
2. add lit=no
3. try to upload

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
upload failed. The message is shown, that there is perhaps the problem of
deleting an object, which is member of a relation.

I think the problem is the value:
incline=-15%

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest from the market, Android 2.3.x on HTC Desire HD.

Issue is due to sending content-type application/x-www-form-urlencoded
instead of text/xml in the HTTP requests to create/update elements. Next
build of the 0,9 branch will contain a fix.
