Hi:
Osmdroid will load tiles according to the map center and zoom level and the
size of the viewport ( see class TileOverlay).
It will create a `MapTile` object for each tile, and draw them.
However I have two questions:
1) what does osmdroid do when user touch and move the screen?
If so, then does osmdroid re-draw the view once the viewport is moved?

Hi, when usong Osmdroid in a (commercial) app, how about the copyright
notice that OSM demands ([link]
Is it necessary or do I have to abide to the rules of the tile provider (in
this case MapQuest) through which I get the map material?
If a copyright notice is necessary, it would perhaps be nice to have it

 Hi,
I need some guidance on how to use mbtiles map package in osmdroid to show
offline maps. If possible some code example to explain the procedure.
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Ramesh

Per-pixel tile transparency within osmdroid

 Hello,
For various reasons, I need the ability to display both standard JPG tiles
*and* PNG tiles with transparency within osmdroid. I am currently testing
with an mbtiles database that is a mix of these two formats, and I am
getting the dreaded black background for all images that have transparency.

3.0.8 code location within SVN repository?

Can someone tell me where the code is for the 3.0.8 release of
osmdroid-android within the SVN structure? I have been building code under
osmdroid-svn-root/tags/osmdroi d-parent-3.0.8 but have no idea if that is
the actual frozen code from the april release or not. The trunk directory
seems to be for current release code, unless I am mistaken.

 Hello All,
I am very new to android development.
I am developing an app which has support for maps and shows some custom
overlays.
I could achieve all this, but now i need to support these maps in offline
mode also. This left me at the door steps on OSMDROID.
So the whole stuff is like when the app is online, i use Google Maps as is
