Latest Changes :
- Holo Theme  and Action Bar support all over screens
- Settings for theme preference (Holo Light, Holo Dark, Dark Action Bar)
- Plugin Settings restructuring! Now All Plugin have own Group Settings which simplifies understanding how Settings show up
- Monitoring Plugin & Background Plugin are merged

To enable these changes we changed minimal Android version to  Android 2.1.

Small current glitches :
- Map Menu button displays items in a long list (will be changed in future)
- Search Transport tab is not visible on some devices in Portrait (reachable by dragging to the right)

Best Regards,
Victor

Hi,

Thanks for all the great work you and the others put in this app.

Is this a development version?
If not: is it currently being pushed to the Play Store?

According to android statistics 1.6 (Donut) is only 0.1%, so you reach 99.9% of the users.

No, it is in latest night build, of course. Still need to be reviewed.

New icon is awesome but it doesn't match the interface. Will the main icons (map, search, favorites, settings) be changed too?

Also it would be refreshing if OsmAnd could get a new default modern map colors. These from OpenStreetMap are not looking great in 2013 and I imagine they are not appealing to users.

Re map colors: Try the "Touring View" Map style rather than "Default", they are mostl the colors used by Eurpoean (and some North Amercian) road atlases.

Regarding the former "Main screen" with the 4 tiles Map/Search/Favorites/Settings: I suggest we completely re-design this as a splash screen only (to perform the initial index actions), with some nice logo and version information on it. This screen should later be displayed via Menu/About.

Regarding our new "Actions-Menu" screen: I have tested this in practice over the last week or so and am amazed how much easier it is to use e.g. in a car than the old Hardware-menu-button/More layout. I really like the iconzed list view now, think we should consider keeping this and not think about much redesign of that screen!

Best,
Hardy
