It includes the GNU GCC compiler for C and C++. WinAVR can be found at Below is just a sample of what's new. - Support for many new processors in the toolchain. - New versions of Binutils, GCC, avr-libc avrdude, Insight, AVaRICE, SRecord, etc. - Removed uisp, TkInfo, and dwarfdump. - Documentation is all in PDF or HTML formats. - avr-mem.sh script functionality has been rolled into the avr-size utility.

According to my information, the release has been withdrawn until
further notice by the maintainer due to some path related issues.

Note: The new WinAvr release will be using avr-libc 1.4.2 which
introduces changes to its header file structure and therefore will not
compile with Nut/OS <= 4.0.1.
