Steven,
Thank you for the interest and sorry for the late reply. We don't have
anyone assigned to deal with this sort of thing at the moment, but I'd
like to keep this conversation going.
We'd definitely be interested in considering a partnership with
VeriLAN. Good wifi connectivity, speedy connections and A/V equipment
are all important to us. Last year, our ~500 attendees made heavy use
of the wifi at the conference and hotel, and we streamed and recorded
media.
Are you or someone at VeriLAN familiar with working with the OCC? The
issue is that the OCC has all sorts of prices and guidelines, so it's
not as cheap and simple as bringing some gear and using it, so any
assistance that could be offered to assist with this would help.
We may also have a "Hacker Lounge" at a nearby hotel again, were
attendees work on projects, and this would also wifi, but would have
its own venue issues. We haven't picked the place for this yet.
I appreciate your interest.

Has the OCC contract been signed?
I have worked with Bill and Steve from OCC many years ago.
I would enjoy hearing what requirement you have had in the past. If
we raise the bar on the OCC to include IPv6, and servers to cashe, etc
they may just step aside.
