Can we pick some place other than the Daily Cafe? It has great food
and coffee, but it was way too noisy and there was a dearth of
electric outlets.

Suggestions welcome! I don't think many people were happy with that
pick. Mea culpa!

Urban Grind NW worked out fairly well last year - we got there early
enough to corral that room off to the side. Tiny's at 12th and
Hawthorne seems to be pretty good, but I don't know how it is for a
large group.

If at all possible we'd like to hold this particular meeting downtown - around PSU.  There may be a special event and a convenient downtown location would be best. ;>

For upcoming meetings it looks like we can reserve the meeting room in the Central Public Library.  They are booked 2/27 - but I'm going to attempt to reserve 3/13 and 4/10 for volunteer sprints at the public library.

Another option is the Cleaner's room at the Ace Hotel -- anyone have any contacts at the Ace they'd be willing to contact to see if they are willing to donate some space for Volunteer Sprints?

Does Powell's have any community meeting space?

Thanks Ed for the additional suggestions,

Jen

OSU has a big conference room with wireless access, etc. downtown
(corner of SW Washington & Broadway). If you're stuck for space we
may be able to help you out. Access is a little awkward since the
elevators are locked after hours/weekends, but I think we can work
around that.

I'll contact my friend who's the graphic designer for Ace and see if I
can get you in contact with someone. What email address should I send
them towards or should I just try to get it and post it here?

Did a location get set for the 2/27 work session? I don't see anything
on Calagator yet.

We are meeting at 11am on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the :

Market Street Pub:
1526 S.W. 10th
Portland, OR 97201

Audrey - if you would add the above to calagator that would be great!

We are waiting on confirmation for one other piece of the sprint that we hope will take place at 10am, not at the Market Street Pub -- but nearby.

We'll send out a formal announcement with what items we are going to work on and final confirmation of locations hopefully by the end of today.
