Position Available: Application Developer/Software Engineer/Web
Programmer

Compensation: $60,000-70,000 (based on experience, certifications,
credentials, etc.)

We are looking for a Developer to join a multi-disciplinary team that
includes programmers, designers, DBAs, system engineers and project
managers to develop and implement effective business process
strategies for clients.

The Day to Day/What to Expect: Everything that can be measured will
be. We believe in doing things efficiently and consistently. Find out
what metrics are important, build reports on them, and cycle until
they improve. You will be involved in the entire project life cycle,
from the development of the specifications, design of the user
interface, database design and construction, programming, and
gathering of user feedback.

*You will understand the goals of the project and how the final
application will make the client better

*You will create integrated Web sites for the clients that encompass
content management systems, e-commerce, and personalization

*You will be involved in the entire project life cycle, from the
development of the specifications, design of the user interface,
database design and construction, programming, and gathering of client
feedback.

*You will design relational databases that serve as the back-end to
dynamic Web sites.

*You will develop Web applications that exceed industry and
Connextions coding standards

Action Scripting, and Java

It can’t hurt if you know: Open-Source frameworks and Components
(Struts, Spring, Tomcat, Ant), Database Layers and Components
(Hibernate, MySQL, Oracle), Web Services API Layers and Components
(Apache Axis, SOAP, XML, WSDL), Testing Frameworks (JUnit and
derivatives), strong knowledge of common J2EE, API’s and DMBS, CVS/
Suberversion/Git/Perforce source control systems, Eclipse or another
predominantly Java-centric IDE, Basic Linux sysadmin skills.
