Position: Jr SQL Developer/DBA with Cognos

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 9-12 months

Requirements:

1.  At least 2 years of experience performing complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.

2.  Working experience with VBScript, ASP, API, HTML and XML.

3.  Relational database design and implementation experience.

4.  Excellent SQL skills.

5.  Working experience with SQL Server database and Microsoft Access database.

6.  Working experience with Cognos report is a definite plus.

7.  Good understanding of modeling concepts.

8.  Ability to understand and maintain the quality of the data.

9.  Design and develop custom user interfaces, reports, and queries using custom applications for enterprise architecture.

10. .Net, Java, or other Object-Oriented programming experience.

11. Software installation and configuration experience in Windows and Unix  environments.

12. Ability to multi-task in an intense environment.

13. Excellent communication skills.

14. Working experience with Microsoft Excel. 

15. MS/BS in IT or Computer Science or related field.

 

Preferred, but not required:

16. Working experience with Troux Technologies - Metis modeling tool.

17. Working experience with Troux Technologies - Metis Enterprise Repository.
