Job Title: *SharePoint Administrator*
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6+month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
This position will assist with the merging of two geographically diverse
MOSS 2007 farms and the support of existing MOSS farms. The position is
responsible for:
Providing technical support for these farms, act as liaison between
business partners, testing team and technical resources to resolve issues
during migration, deployment and testing; research and document technical
issues; create process documentation; ensure current timelines and service
levels are met
This position is a senior level, highly technical role that manages
application installations and supports the online site infrastructure to
ensure optimum performance, availability and security of the "front-end"
environment.
Providing 3rd level support for the resolution of highly complex, technical
problems involving web sites and e-commerce applications and their
integration into the client's existing online site.
Leading large-scale application implementations from proof of concept
through testing and installation.
Directing statistics gathering and analysis to assist in determining
hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected
transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets.
Evaluating, developing, customizing and utilizing advanced system
administration tools.
Collaborating with enterprise partners on issues and initiatives that
impact the infrastructure.
Coaching and giving direction to less experienced web support engineers.
Qualifications:
4 year degree in IT or related field and 5-8 years related experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience
Should work well independently and as a member of a high performance team.
Platform and Skill Set Expertise:
Systems Administration : MCSE, Systems Administration : Microsoft IIS
