Description: Wishes about Opera

cleaner tray icon in linux
Hi, Very content with Opera Browser and Mail (IMAP rules!) I notice that the system tray icon in Linux (no idea about Mac or Windows) is not very nice. It has a fixed background color (no transparency) so if the task bar / dock is other than default, this does not look very good. Also the icon appears to be of a fixed size so when the dock is bigger... more »

Open the download pop-up on the same screen with the main Opera window
Hello everyone, with a dual monitor setup, if you move Opera to the second screen and download a file, or bookmark a site, the window form opens on the firt monitor. Could be better if this little form opened on the same screen it was called from.

speed dial problem
Speed Dial for me is largely useless. This is because a large majority of my pages used are untitled. Therefore, I cannot tell what page I'm looking at. Why can there not be an option to rename the page or square to whatever we want?

Bypass certificate check
Hi, I use Opera on a intranet for the company where I work. The backoffice site where I've to work has a "self certificate": I mean, the company where I work has "certificate itself" but this isn't good for Opera (that doesn't want to consider trusted it) so Opera shows me a popup window to accept that certificate *every time* I make... more »

Cycle open tabs, NOT minimized tabs
Asking here instead of in Opera.General, and hopefully this will not be sidetracked by Mario this time. I want to press Ctrl-Tab and cycle through all open tabs EXCEPT minimized tabs. I do not want to see minimized tabs open up until I unminimize them. I don't care if this is made an optional feature that I have to turn on, but I hate being... more »

Agenda & TODO/Task list
After using Evolution and Thunderbird+Sunbird on Ubuntu for many years, I switched to Opera to manage my e-mail accounts via IMAP. I am very happy with the move but I am missing only ONE thing: An Agenda & TODO/Task list management. Right now I am using a browser tab with Google Agenda opened but it... more »

cue while typing in a password form field if the form data will be submitted over a non-ssl connection
It would be helpful to get some sort of visual cue when you're typing a password in a form field if the form data will be submitted over a non-ssl connection. I know that you can hover over the submit button to check the submit address, but that means you have to do this manually every time to make sure.... more »
