Chat advanced options

Hi all I was wondering if there is a menu to access Opera's chat client's
additional functions. I am really just looking for two things.
firstly, can we force tabs or private messaging windows to be open within
the same tab as the chat as I find it rather obtrusive when I am surfing

secondly, is it possible to assign sounds to the various chat alerts, e.g
new private message, user login etc.

These two are things that I am accustomed to while using an IRC client, so
I would appreciate any help to access the functions, workarounds, add-ons
and so on. Thanks.
