I was at an adult website with thumbnails and some of the colors of the
thumbnails were in psychedelic colors. and some were ok. This website
viewed in firefox was ok. Previous versions of opera have did this, but it
is worse since I upgraded to latest version.

I haven't been able to test a "normal" webpage, because I haven't been able
to find a website with a lot of thumbnail previews.

using a ati aiw 9800pro with latest Omega Drivers.

Any ideas if this is an opera problem of something else.?

thanks

Okay..Since it seems nobody wants to touch this with the current ssubject
matter. I went out and found a "Neutral" site.

I created a screenshot side by side of the colors I get in the thumbnails.

It works for me as well. The problem looks a bit like the one you get
when a display is set to 256-colour mode, but then everything would be
affected.

I uninstalled Opera(9.23) and reinstalled it. My previous installation had
a lot of junk files on the opera folder not associated with it.

I thought that had fixed it, but the problem resurfaced.

I also reverted back to an earlier version of ATI 9800 pro drivers(6.2 i
think) and I also thought that had fixed it....NO...it resurfaced again.

I am a loss to know why this is happening in only Opera..doesn't happen with
firefox.

link to screeenshot of Opera and Firefox side by side showing the same
webpage.

It is the same webpage as in earlier post

Any help would be appreciated

Did you clear your cache and/or tried a clean profile? Uninstalling and
installing again doesn't clear your profile. Also, run memtest to see if
your memory is having trouble.

Please save the images that are affected together with their correct
counterparts. Then the images can be compared to see if something in there
is causing the problem.
