I've been questioning this over in opera:general.

Why has 9.50 gone back to having no suffixes on the cache files (jpg, gif, mov, etc) ?

It was a boon to be able to trawl through the cache pulling out files to keep
... and an easy way to keep flv files from places like YouTube.

As it is I have gone back to the previous version of Opera....
the first time in many, many years and versions I have felt it necessary to do this.

Do you expect to get different answers here? :)

You can still do that, using an extra step of searching in opera:cache
