Strange Window Behavior
|
| |
Hey All, I tried using a different window manager (mwm) today instead of KDE. I disabled KDE and the only window manager I am running is Mwm. When I started Opera, I discovered that I can't resize any of the windows, nor move them without using the pager feature of Mwm. The titlebar menu has... more »

Hello, Did anyone try gnash with VA API support yet? Patches are available from [link] Of course VA API and the proper backend, either VDPAU or XvBA is needed which you can get from the same server. I just got XvBA to work with mplayer today, but I'm not going to screw around with my system by... more »

No more FC8, i.e. no more Opera for "linpus" on Acer Aspire 1...
|
| |
I'm running Opera 10 on my Acer Aspire One. The AA1 110L comes with a preinstalled linux called "Linpus". Linpus is based on FC8. But when I tried to get Opera 10.01 for my daugther's AA1, FC8 had gone away. FC 10, 11 and 12 are the only supported Fedora versions. I tried installing that version on my daugther's machine. It installed but... more »

Opera 10.01
|
| |
When I started Opera 10.00 this evening, I was informed of a new version. So I fetched the most likely RPM file (for Mandriva 2009 - I'm still using Mandriva 2008 on this machine) and installed it. When starting Opera 10.01, an error is reported - that there is a previous session still running, indicated by the presence of a lock file... more »

However, this player plug-in is buggy and quite unstable. For instance, If I pause the video it won't start again. Can... more »

10.00 new tab button snafu'd
|
| |
When I hit the New Tab button, I get a new (and smaller) window instead. Dunno if it's relevant, but I haven't gotten to my bookmarking for a while, and have about 66 tabs open, by hand count.
