Error when checking for updates

Hi,

Every time I check for updates I get: "An error occurred while checking
for a new version of Opera." What could the problem be?

Check that you haven't blocked access to the update server (should be
xml.opera.com unless I'm mistaken).

It suddenly started working again by itself. I'm beginning to think the
update server was down for a little while. Thanks anyway.
