mouse totally stopped working after Opera 10.10 upgrade

Hi, managed to get back button on my intellimouse (usb) to work in
previous Opera, and back button worked but randomly failed for reasons
unknown. Erased everything related to gestures in advanced settings but
that did not fix the random failure. After 10.10 upgrade mouse totally
locks when opera starts and if opera is shutdown mouse starts working
after a few seconds. If I connect a second mouse (usb) that works but
not the first.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and no other programs refuses to use the first mouse.

In another thread about mouse back button they talked about some .ini
file related to mouse config. Found "standard_mouse_2.ini" in the .opera
home subfolder that contains

I have not edited this file.

Made a copy of this naming it "standard_mouse_1.ini" but Opera did not care.
