With Opera closed, look in your <Profile> directory.
If you have a VPS directory try renaming it and restarting Opera.

I was using Opera perfectly normally, typing in a Google search using

i'd like to make a button on the toolbar, to toggle the address bar's visibility.

No Wand prompt with Gmail

When setting up a new Gmail account, I found that Opera no longer
prompts me to remember the login information. I have a few older
Gmail accounts, and the Wand works for those. Opera still prompts
me on other sites.
Is there a Site Preference that I have screwed up?

I should have noted that the problem and (in)compatibilities referred
to occur only upon logging in an account. The info can be had w/o
logging in. Still...

After all these years, I had to laugh... At FedEx.com, I hadn't been
able to get the Get Rates and Transit Times to return an answer with
either Opera 10a/b, IE8 or FF 3.x, but only Opera 9.64. With O10 and
IE, the Submit button wouldn't even respond. So I wrote their tech
support and their reply was quite a surprise: FedEx doesn't support

Who said I'm waiting for your solution to delete the bookmark?
Considering that it's a feature of Opera to display *any* folder in the
toolbar, that folter can be nested very deeply somewhere in my bookmarks.

Yes, that's the problem in a nutshell. And all I'm really trying to find
out is if there's a faster way to do it. But I guess not. I'm not sure
why Opera keeps ignoring the earler implentation of the star they had.
Bookmarking is a pretty essential feature in a browser.

It happen regularly after I visit for a few minutes. I'm trying to figure
out which action I did that trigger this to happen. I open multiple pages
in background tabs. I always suspect there is some AJAX code that loads
user comments at the bottom of the page that might have something to do
with this. I usually failed to load the comment when this happens.

Several times I had the same problem: add a bookmark is very fast and easy, but remove a bookmark requests to open the menu, search the bookmarks and delete it.
