Did you restore your profile directory from a CDR or something? Perhaps
that folder or its files have become write-protected?
i transfered my wand file to disc and when i reformatted and reinstalled
Opera i transfered it back to Docs and
settings\Admin\AppData\Opera\Opera,all other passwords are working
correctly its just not working with the new Yahoo,as i said earlier Opera
isnt even giving me the option to save the password in Yahoo.

Opera loses my Yahoo! ID on <https://login.yahoo.com/>
from time to time (but surprisingly not the password!).
I have to store a new Wand entry and delete the old one.
No idea why...

If you restored just the wand file then that's what caused this; there
is some other file that you have to backup/restore in parallel with the
want dat file, but I don't recall what it is.
The bypass (as Nisse pointed out) is to delete the wand entry for any
site that refuses to store your password. Then it will work.

I am presuming that Opera has my password causing the box not to appear
but its just not activating the Login button.
Is there somewhere in Opera that i can check for saved passwords or are
they too encrypted to access?
