Hi there,

Everything was fine. Installed 9.50 over 9.28 and all has been going
well for the last couple of days. Tried using a different skin and it
all went pair shaped from there. Now Opera doesn't remember any of my
settings. It keeps popping up a message, "Could not save file" and the
location C:\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\Profile\opera6.adr. With the
option to try again? Yes or No. When I select Yes the same message is
displayed time and time again.......

I have uninstalled Opera and reinstalled as a new install rather than
the upgrade option but after a while I get the popup saying it "Could
not save file" and the pop up won't go away.

Any suggestions on how to fix this please? Thanks in advance.

Do you have write permissions for this directory? If I recall
correctly, that's not the default AppData location.

The AppData profile folder is a hidden folder in Vista. It was created
during the installation of Opera 9.2l. Anyway I reinstalled Opera 9.5
again but chose to call the folder in Program Files "Opera 9.5". The
folder in the AppData is now called Opera 9.5 and all seems to working
ok. The only problem now is to get ReGet to work with 9.5 like it did
with previous version...........

Nope, never.

Hi

I have the file in the default location (documents * settings/username/
application data/opera/opera/profile)

I do have the permissions to edit the directory (admin).

It also appeared after a couple of days of using Opera 9.50.

Exporting the file doesn't work. The last updated file is dated
yesterday and is about 900kb.

Thanks.

I had the same problem, but fixed it by deleting/moving the
opera6.adr
file and created a new empty one.
