I can't find a way to drag a URL to create a shortcut on my desktop from
Opera. Is there any?

I can't even figure out how I do that anyway, other than manually create a new
Internet link on the desktop and then paste the URL and rename the link.

I don't normally clutter my desktop with links, but for the heck of it I
tried clicking on the part of the address bar that says "Web", and
dragging it to the desktop. That seemed to work.

On what system? Mine is Windows 7 Home, it doesn't work.

Seems to be a regression in the very last build of Opera Next. I checked one
of the previous builds (1213) and it worked (drag and drop the address bar
onto the desktop to create a URL link).
