Good morning!

I'm using v. 10.00 1. The 'close' buttons on the tabs are a little too small for me to use comfortably. Is there any way to change them?

Thanks.
David.

One thing you can do is turn them off. They will then appear in the top
right of the window just under the application close button.

The benefit is that you can close several tabs one after another without
moving your mouse. Downside is you might close several tabs one after
another without moving your mouse. :-)

"Tools / Preferences / Advanced / Tabs / Additional tab options / Show
close button on each tab"

Uncheck it.

On the other hand, you can find the setting in one of the config files for
minimum size and set that larger. I don't know where that is, though.

Yes, that's better for me, thanks. It seems to me though, that a browser which prides itself on flexibility should provide an option for larger buttons there.

Maybe I'll get around to writing them about it.

Thanks again.
David.

It's set in the skin. See "[Pagebar Close Button Skin]" on http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/opera-skinning-part-4-skin-ini-element/
