Opera Beta for Windows is available for download. This is a public beta,
which means wider distribution, not just an announcement in the newsgroups
and forums. But as usual, please discuss the new version in opera.beta and
in the my.opera.com Beta testing forum.

As a public beta, this is considered stable enough to test upgrading an
existing installation. But you can also choose to make a separate beta
installation. Note that the chosen directory name for the installation
will now be used for the desktop and start menu shortcuts as well, and for
naming the uninstall entry.
