Confirmed with the 9.52, build 2069 (latest beta) on opera linux. I captured
an inspectr log, and lsof output from shortly before the crash, showing opera
using a growing number of pipes. It crashes when it hits the ulimit, which
is usually 1000.
I've reported the bug, and sent the logs to bug-349437 AT bugs.opera.com

change the choices in the drop down boxes below "Je abonnement" a view
times and you have a winner --> Crash!

Opera 10092 under WXP-Pro/SP1. Updated to Build 10092 by writing over 10089.
Tried to launch my Yahoo page at <[link]>. Instead
of launching the page, I see a link to the URL in the upper left of the
page. Clicking on the link brings up the page. Works properly in FF3.
Tried to launch <[link]>. Page launches with

Suddenly started working again, with no obvious reason. I'd tried
restarting Opera, and rebooting, neither of which worked. Now it suddenly
works again!

Confirmed for the first link, Opera stalls loading it with no warning.
Safari here (Mac OS X 10.5.4) complains about the certificate of the first
link, but once accepted that, it tries to load, and gives in the end a
blank page.
Second link, no problem with both Opera 9.52 and Safari.

can't confirm, works fine here, Mac OS X 10.5.4, O9.52.
