9.50b2, can't copy/paste location when going there with F8

If I press F8, followed by C-c, to copy the location URL, and then try
pasting the copied code into emacs, I usually get something else (the
previous copy/paste object).
I click into the location box with the mouse, then to C-a to select
everything, and then C-c, then I can paste the location into emacs.
This is annoying, because I have to use the mouse.
