Subject: Aeon Labs - Smart Energy Switch
Hi,
I have been playing around trying to get a accumulative value from the
'Smart Energy Switch'
For the life of me I can't seem to get this value 'KWh', only the
instantaneous value 'W'

Has anyone achieved this?
Is it possible?

Thanks

I've actually disabled COMMAND_CLASS_METER for my two devices, as it
seems to (nearly) always time out.  When it does work, it appears to
report the same value as the instantaneous
COMMAND_CLASS_SENSOR_MULTILEVEL class.  I've heard that Aeon Labs is
developer-friendly though, you may want to send them a message and see
what they have to say (and report back to us if you get a decent
answer!)

Good Luck!

Subject: Re: [openzwave] Aeon Labs - Smart Energy Switch
Have you looked at the configuration variables available for the device? They are in the open-zwave/config/aeon_labs/ses.xml file and should be automatically loaded when your device is discovered and saved in the zwcfg output file. I did find some conflicting information out in the web regarding these variables so they may not be completely functioning yet. I sent an email to aeon labs requesting the latest version of the smart switch configuration document but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Thanks,
Greg
