Congratulations ! Looking forward to seeing the potential being unleashed by
the new engine :)
I've updated ruote-kit to use 2.1.3 (the 'ruote-kit' branch of my ruote
fork). These updates are not compatible with previous ruote-kit releases
since the whole engine's underpinnings have changed.
Upgrade instructions:

 Hello Greg,
no worries. I haven't yet ported FileListener to ruote 2.0.
I'm currently working on ruote 2.1 (will be out soon) and I just
renamed the "listener" concept to "receiver" to prevent confusion
between the "listen" expression and listeners.
If you really need a ruote 2.0 FileListener, you should be able to

 Hello Alex,
this NoMethodError is the symptom of a bug, sorry. I filled a bug report :
[link]
Ruote should be able to produce a status info even in case of broken process.
What does "no chance to kill it" mean ?
Isn't the process simply terminated ? That is regular behaviour.

 Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with running Ruote under IronRuby? I'm
thinking about using IronRuby in my .Net environment, but I know
Ironruby is not 100% according rubyspec. Will this affect ruote very
much?
Thanks for the answer.
Kind regards,
Gerben Heinen

 Good day all
Just some updates on ruote-kit & ruote-kit-client for your perusal.
I added a Gemfile to ruote-kit, for use with bundler [1], to simplify the
dependencies required by the project. This might not go down well with
everyone, but from personal experience the 'vendor everything' approach
really works well to eliminate surprises with incompatible gem versions.

 Hi,

Earlier today, John push a patch to fix a problem with symbols +
string field references in xml process definitions (where <concurrent-
iterator on-field="assets" [...]> wouldn't work on a field
named :assets). Unfortunately, in fixing that, it looks like it broke
the <equals> field references (that already had the logic?).

I should also add that in contrast to Kenneth's example, I'm actually
using one large process instead of many small ones. The state machine
doesn't cause any processes to be launched; instead, the process is
launched and then queries the underlying state machine to figure out
what it is supposed to be doing and fires off events within the state
