Hi all,

I've started playing with libelf and hope to contribute something
in the direction of shared library support to the Linux port.

Just a little heads up, in case someone else is working on this?

I do not think anyone else is working on it. You may want to examine the differences between wlink and jwlink (fork, still under Open Watcom license). This would be a very welcome extension of the functionality in OW!

You may want to have a look at the linkers and loaders section on our wiki, if you have not already.

Good luck with your effort!
