Problem with route instructions when having same name for consecutive edges

Hey all,

I´m facing the problem that I get less route instructions for my route than
I would expect. I attached a screenshot to this post. In yellow you can see
the consecutive edges that have the same name (4). The red nodes mark the
positions where I do get route instructions. The blue nodes mark the places

Stephane,

1) you will need to check that the OSM is detailed and tagged correctly particularly walking paths from roads to bus stations, tram and train stations. And that this map detail is downloaded to OTP before deployment.
2) when processing the OTP graph file you should try using the prune floating islands method.

If you are working in Eclipse (with automatic deployment to the server
by Eclipse) you probably shouldn't edit the files in the target/
directory -- those are produced automatically by the build.

Instead, edit those in opentripplanner-api-webapp/src /main/resources,
and the changes will carry over to target/ when then automatic

I've downloaded a 30m SRTM geotiff for my dataset and configured OTP
from processing this data.

But, after calculating some bike routes, the elevation chart for
bikers does NOT show any elevation (green part of the chart)

They are septa_20130403_0308, Google_rail and Google_bus. But in
graph-config.xml there is only one gtfs file path.
I build with the septa_20130403_0308 file, but I found in Philadelphia the
(bus only) option is not available. Even I set 100miles way the solution is
still walking... So I made my conclusion, the bus information is not

Posted patch, not updating graph

I got a problem when applying a patch, the patch returns success and it
appears via the routePatches api-call.
However if I restart the server all patches are gone, since this happens I
suppose the graph is not getting updated.
First question is: Are patches even supposed to update the graph?
If so, why does not my graph update? Do I have to rebuild the graph with
