NINE OF CUPS

Attribution - Jupiter in Pisces

Cups is the suit of emotion, inner states, feelings, relationships, memories, spiritual experiences. The cup is the container of something sacred. It is the suit of artists, musicians, creativity, healing, imagination.

Nines are about nearing the end, the final stage, dreams, courage, mastery, letting go and terminating properly.

Rider-Waite Imagery

A man wearing a red hat sits with arms crossed. Behind him is a table with 9 cups on it. The table cloth is blue.

The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Arthur Edward Waite (1911)

A goodly personage has feasted to his heart’s content, and abundant refreshment of wine is on the arched counter behind him, seeming to indicate that the future is also assured. The picture offers the material side only, but there are other aspects.
