The figure that we see in this card is immediately
likeable. In fact the aspect of the Queen is regal in
terms of her clothing but her expression is
kind-hearted and sweet. One can imagine her great
sensitivity and her generous goodness.
This Queen of the Fairies wears a magnificent dress of pale lilac, decorated around the hem with little hearts, while on her back she caries a long red cape. She has long wavy hair, and is standing on a green carpet. On her head she wears a precious gem-studded crown and she holds a sceptre in her hands, the point adorned with a read heart.
The small hearts on her clothing, the heart on the sceptre and the suit of Hearts all allude to the element of Water and therefore to love, the emotions and sentiments.
In the Tarot of the Fairies this Queen is the symbol of kindness, of spiritual sensitivity. Furthermore it indicates a loyal and good friend; the same Fairy that they consult.
If you have extracted this card, consider it to be
positive, as it refers to a person who is a friend and
who is sincere; a mother, a woman who will suffer more
for others than for herself, who is happy or unhappy
depending on the moods of those around her. If you are
a woman and are verifying your own response, it can
also indicate yourself.
Card Upright: An intelligent woman, honest; a woman
who will sacrifice herself for love; a friend who
protects you.
Reversed: A treacherous woman, to be feared; a trap
from a female; a rival in love.
