I have an opensocial app called "Twitkut" which is currently live on
Orkut and I'm trying to make authenticated requests to another service
(Twitter) using OAuth.

In order to make these requests, I emailed oauthp...@google.com to
get the OAuth Consumer key and OAuth
Consumer Key Secret to be installed into my app.

The key was installed in the sandbox version of my app and all the
OAuth requests are working properly in the sandbox version.

However, it's been a couple of weeks since I emailed to get the OAuth
consumer key and secret installed in the production version of my app
and it looks like the key still hasn't been installed. Is there anyway
that I can check if the Consumer Key and Consumer Key Secret have been
installed? And I hope OAuth based requests using makeRequest are
supported on the live version of Orkut?

The gadget URL is: http://ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml

I would really appreciate if you look into this. My app is missing a
crucial functionality due to this not working properly. Thanks!

Have you registered this app http://ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml ? We were only able to see this http://ankitahuja.com/apps/twitkut_test/twitter.xml in our DB.

Can you send another mail to oauthp...@google.com with registration details. Make sure to give the right url of your app, http://example.com is different from http://www.example.com

Regards,
Sachin

Thanks for your quick response!

I think the case might be that I might have submitted my app to the Orkut directory with the gadget URL http://www.ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml. Is there any way I can verify the URL of a gadget in the Orkut directory?

I already sent an email to oauthp...@google.com for http://ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml. So, I think I'll try sending another email to request registration for http://www.ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml

Hopefully that'll work. Thanks again!

Hi,

If you´re using Firefox, you can download the Opensocial plugin for firebug, developed by Arne Kurrik.

Just load firebug on canvas view and you will be able to see the gadget url.

Yes, you have registered  http://www.ankitahuja.com/apps/orkut/twitter.xml

Please send another request to oauthp...@google.com with the right url.

Sachin
