Trying shindig, attempting to test with the url:

http://localhost:8080/gadgets/ifr?url=http://www.labpixies.com/campai...

Fails with the following stack trace which perhaps suggest that the
request for www.labpixies.com was blocked by my corporate firewall.
Is it possible to set up an HTTP proxy within shindig?

Bad form answer my own post - I should have done some more googling -
anyway for others:

mvn jetty:run -Dhttp.proxyHost=proxydomain -Dhttp.proxyPort=proxyport
