Hi,

did anyone tested the GroupsExample from the java opensocial client
with another provider? I tested it with Orkut and Hi5 and get some
error messages like "method getgroups not implemented". I thought
groups are part of RESTful API and in the protocol is written:
"The RESTful API serves as a common protocol understood by all
OpenSocial 0.8-compliant clients and servers"?
Did anyone have an idea to get user groups from this networks?

Hi Alex. I'm not terribly familiar with hi5's platform, but I know that orkut doesn't currently support groups. OpenSocial is a common specification but individual containers can choose to support (or not support) various parts of the specification.
