Hi

I'm trying to update my status.
I did the exact same thing as in the example but i get next:

[set_status_mood] => osapiError Object
(
[errorCode:private] => 401
[errorMessage:private] => "401 - Unauthorized: Access is
denied due to invalid credentials."
[response] =>
)

Is this because my application (in myspace) is in development status and
i need to publish it?
or did i stumble upon a bug?

Note: statusmood->get works like a charm.. just the update goes rogue..

Hi Pieter. I noticed the same thing when implementing this bit of functionality for Java. I'll reach out to the MySpace engineer who implemented this first to see if it's either not correctly implemented on their end or if the clients are just buggy.

Hi Pieter. No, I don't. I'm in the final stretch of getting the new library ready, and I probably won't be able to fix this before then. What you can do is email the original developer of this code (his name and email should be at the top of the source file) about it.

Hi Jason (and all the other OS geeks ;))

I have started a thread on the myspace developer forum http://developer.myspace.com/Community/forums/t/9547.aspx
They acknowledged the problem and they proposed to used the old 0.8 put functionality http://wiki.developer.myspace.com/index.php?title=PUT_v1_users_userId_status

now my question to anyone is: How do i implement it this way? do i need to do a hack?

Thanks

Hi Pieter. It sounds like you're using the PHP library. I don't maintain that, but in general, we're not adding support for older APIs. We would prefer that MySpace update their new API to work as intended. That said, the libraries are open source and you can always tweak them as needed yourself.
