With all the discussion around the REST APIs, I was asked a simple question that I could not answer:

Is anyone actually using the ones that are in the spec today?

I'm not aware of anyone, so I figured it would be good to put this to the community.

Thanks!

Out of the ones defined currently, we are using the People and
Activity Streams services for sure. The Groups and Spaces services are
being looked at and once the CMIS/Files stuff is all figured out,
we'll be using that as well.

The MediaItems/Albums/Messages services are pretty useless to us as
they are right now.

Yes!

Very much so, mainly group and person, but also activities is being
used. For us the REST API is the defacto way of getting group and person
info into remote applications

OK. So let's make sure that you are in on the review of the REST API proposal. Also, let's make sure that we have adequate transition/support time if we decide to make significant changes.

+1... as many reviewers as possible and as much time as needed.
There's no sense in rushing things so long as we're keeping things
moving in the right direction.
