Issue with UserPref gadgets API and gadgets XML

Possibly a cleanup issue/API issue:

 

In the Gadgets XML reference (http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/reference.html#Userprefs_Ref), we have XML for enums and location. In the API reference (http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/reference/#gadgets.Prefs), there doesn’t seem to be a mechanism for getting at enums and so on. I would expect that enums would be defined in JS and stored as ints or strings in UserPref. Is this just something that needs to be removed from the XML documentation or does the gadget API need to be expanded?
