Chase,

Do you have an event registration for the 3rd? Let's get Lexington on the map!

If you have your group and don't need registration then give me another event page to which I can link.

A lot about art mapper will be figured out this weekend. I think the community is trending toward merging code bases into a central app that we can all join. My city is also working art mapper 2-4 March as is San Diego so we can work together. Norfolk has data already. Our focus will be on porting it to more useful interfaces, including mobile.

Best,
Kevin

Next scheduled OpenLexington meeting is coming up next week Wednesday, 2.29.2012 at 7pm (Coffea).

Breaking with tradition, but we're going to move the meeting to Coffea (Rose St & Euclid Ave) for more space than the previous 3rd St Stuff meeting place.

Agenda:
- Quick plan for March 3rd Code Across America event
  - Collexion - March 3rd - Noon to Midnight
  - Goal: Get public art mapper app running on a server somewhere
    - clone of existing app re-focused on Lexington public art
    - Get our current open public art data on the art mapper app
    - map walk for those who can't/don't/won't code ?
    - designers need too.
  - What server for public art mapper app?
    - UK?
    - Heroku?
    - Rackspace?
    - Linode?
    - Collexion OpenStack?
- Long Plan for CityCampLex (April 21 - 22, 2012)
- Goal:
  - launch Open Data portal on UK server
    - clone of OpenDataPhilly
- Finalize Meeting Space at UK
  - occupancy: 50 to what upper bound?
  - space for gathering together and space for working in small groups
  - OK to bring food and drink into the space
- Finish Eventbrite registration page details.
  - template is that of CityCampDC
- Need a Budget
- Need a formal non-profit fiscal sponsor
  - e-democracy?
  - Collexion?
- Need a Mechanism to take in-kind and monetary donations.
  - Check
  - Eventbrite?
- Do we need a Sponsorship Plan?
  - do we need a document similar to that from CityCampRal (citycampral.org):
- Sponsor Ideas
  - Code for America
  - Sunlight Foundation
  - UK
  - LFUCG
  - Lexington Economic Development
  - Lexmark
  - Rackspace
  - Metaformers
  - ??

Thanks,

Chase
