  Hi Ed, &lt;br&gt; QM itself has no knowledge of the cursor position, therefore, any mechanism &lt;br&gt; to determine where it is must be handled within AccuTerm. I believe that &lt;br&gt; there is a control code to ask where the cursor is and receive this back as &lt;br&gt; an input data burst but I can imagine that the whole process may take more

  For a really geeky project, I want to capture the x, y, t coordinates &lt;br&gt; of the mouse cursor location at millisecond intervals. I see that I &lt;br&gt; can get the milliseconds from SYSTEM(9), but I&#39;m not clear how to get &lt;br&gt; the mouse position. &lt;br&gt; Is this possible in QMBasic? &lt;br&gt; Will AccuTerm do it? &lt;br&gt; Just another strange request,

  I second using a san and snapshots. You can suspend the database for &lt;br&gt; a moment, create the snapshot, and release the suspend. Our netapp &lt;br&gt; takes snapshots instantly. &lt;br&gt; As for being truly 24/7, run two boxes and replicate between the &lt;br&gt; boxes.   Ashley, &lt;br&gt; I am guilty as well! :-) Actually, we are really more like 24x6.5. I &lt;br&gt; guess I just don&#39;t have the resources to be TRULY 24x7. Somewhere along &lt;br&gt; the line you have to ask if it&#39;s worth it for a few extra hours of &lt;br&gt; uptime. &lt;br&gt; Gary
