Hi, I'm trying to build OpenNI + SensorKinect on Ubuntu 12.04, running in a VMWare virtual machine. Can someone recommend a good way to get this combination working? I've tried getting the latest of both projects from GitHub, but the Linux USB interface code seems to be out of sync - recent changes to SensorKinect... more »

Help with the "Internal buffer is too small!" error

Hello, I have installed OpenNI and OpenCV (v2.4.0). Then, I compiled the kinect_maps example program using g++ `pkg-config opencv --cflags` kinect_maps.cpp -o kinect_maps `pkg-config opencv --libs` and built it with no problems. When I run it though, I get the error: Kinect opening ... CvCapture_OpenNI::CvCapture_Op enNI : Failed to create production tree:... more »

I have bashed my head against the wall trying to get OpenNI to install
properly. I have tried every version that I can find - stable /

When I plug in the Kinect, it automatically installs Microsoft Kinect

Hi all, I've been getting this bug (/bin/sh: javac: command not found) whenever I try to compile the unstable branch of openni. Is there anything that can be done to fix it? This is after an upgrade from fedora 16 - 17 btw. Thanks
