NITE samples don't work (InitFromXml failed: Device Protocol: Bad Parameter sent!)

Hi,

I got OpenNI 1.0.0.23 and NITE 1.3.0.17 installed on my Windows 7 x64
machine. All samples from OpenNI are working.

But the NITE samples like Samples-Boxes.exe are not working and give
the following output:
Setting resolution to QVGA
InitFromXml failed: Device Protocol: Bad Parameter sent!

In my device manager I have PrimeSensor - Kinect Camera, PrimeSensor -
Kinect Motor and Other devices - XBox NUI audio with a yellow
exlamation mark (guess it is not supported by OpenNI yet?).

You need to modify configuration XML's

That cleared it up for me too, same problem. But Nite's sample runs
really slow
