unable to connect kinect to pc

i have installed all the drivers required as instructed.
But in the end,niviewer says that the device is not connected.
it hasn't asked to enter the license key anywhere in the installation
process.
please help me out with this problem.

HI,
Did you check the Device Manager to see if USB driver was installed properly? If yes, when you plug Kinect to usb port you will see the green color of led blinking.

yeah.i have checked it.It shows that the USB driver is installed properly and yeah i can see a green led blinking.
