Ubuntu 2011.04
Firefox 8.0
Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102
IcedTea-Web 1.1.1-0ubuntu1~11.04.2

Steps to reproduce:
) Log in at http://demo.openmeetings.de/openmeetings/
) Create a new "My conference room (for 1-16 users)"
) Click "Share/record screen"
) Applet trust: Always allow
) Desktop Sharer popup appears
) Click "Start sharing"
) Nothing seems to happen, even after waiting 30 minutes. The stop button
is still grayed out.
) Same problem with "Start recording", no visible effect.

Note: My computer does not have a webcam, this might be triggering the
issue.

We cannot reproduce this.
The webcam has nothing todo with screensharing.

See attached screenshot, 2 minutes ago => everything is fine.

I saw such behavior once.
It was caused by wrong context.xml file.
Please verify you have this file from the correct version of OM.

You can troubleshoot using browsers java console.
