Besides these news items happening in the world, was there any discussion on

Open Manufacturing on G+?

Hi John,

A few comments so far. A few words with the Internet of Things. No
discussion yet. :)

This just seems like a news feed. Can you stop posting it? Thanks.

Bryan,

I see this as something useful. Many links are not directly related to
open manufacturing or open source product design and engineering, but
can be used to think how open manufacturing can be integrated with
these various production and fulfilment areas or how to
open/distribute or reduce/end the proprietary large workforce
varieties. Stories can be picked for conversation or inspire interest
in searching similar areas for discussion. I've had positive feedback.

I could post digests less often with more links. Thoughts?

Best.

Bryan,
I like the content for pretty much the reasons stated by Nathan, and as long as the frequency doesn't go above once a week, what's the harm?

The harm is that it's just link spam. Most of those projects don't look open source or related to open manufacturing. Also, there's no commentary or discussion. I can just get that from my RSS aggregators, and so can you.

Are you authoring them? If not, who is?
Weekly isn't bothering me much.
