OpenLoopz Status Update

Hi everyone,

I have taken some time to write about the development of the new OpenLoopz in an attempt to explain why it remains unfinished.  You can find it here:

While I realise this will probably be the last straw for most users (if that hasn't been and gone already), I hope I can lure you all back once the new version is finally released!

I try and try to switch to something else from OpenLoopz, but I just
can't do it, it's still the best, as it is.

I hope you will find a way to finance yourselves and continue to work
on the new version!

When do you expect to pick up the development, release a new version,
anything... ? As time passes, and nothing happens,...
I would just like to remind you that you would make the whole world a
favor by releasing your code as open source, especially if you catch
yourself not being able to continue in a reasonable time frame. I am
quite certain there would be a hurd of hackers (including me) happy to
contribute their couple of cents each and make this software grow
again.

By opening it everybody gains including you as the original author-
authority-project controller, especially compared to just letting it
die. This just makes no sense to me, and I'm sure neither does to
anybody else.

If you actually plan to pick up soon, you are very welcome to ignore
this message. I wish you all the best.

Really?  I can access it fine although I did notice the header image wasn't being displayed properly so I've fixed that.  Please let me know if you still can't access the blog and I will look into it further.

I can only apologise, yet again :-(  I *have* picked up development again and while progress is slow, I am more determined than ever to get back on track.  I am writing a new blog post which should be live this week to provide an update and to explain my plans for OpenLoopz going forward.

While I greatly appreciate your offer to contribute to making OpenLoopz a success, I am not in a position to open up the entire code base at this time, but that could change going forward depending on how things progress.
