libfreenect vs. NUIgroup sdks?

Hi,

I'm seeing more and more developing tools for the Kinect coming up -
and I'm wondering how they compare/what their relationships towards
each other are.

The two resources that I've seen that are similar are the libfreenect
libraries and the NUI Kinect.

Does anyone have pro-con recommendations for any of these resources?
