Hello all,

I am wondering, is it possible to include accessmod or plugin like
accessmod into Openjump?
Accessmod is free but only can be used with arcview, which is not free.

Accessmod is available at:
http://www.who.int/kms/initiatives/accessmod/en/index.html

thanks.

You cannot use an esri plugin in OpenJUMP.

You'll find an interesting Health Mapping work made by australian
university
Charles Darwin for Indonesian provinces and based on the use of OpenJUMP
+ Accessmod :
http://www.ij-healthgeographics.com/content/10/1/15
http://healthpslp.cdu.edu.au/index.html

I don't know how specific Accessmod is and how the version based on raster
analysis works, but as far as vector analysis is concerned, OpenJUMP
already has an extension (graph-toolbox) using a binding to jgrapht library
(a graph analysis library), and developping a plugin for shortest path
and/or
isochronous would be an interesting challenge.
